Jodi said he was making a big annoucement at 7:10 that was a change to something the station had been doing for 30+ years. Had to quit listenting at 7:00. Don’t see anything above about his announcement. Was curious.

    i see the announcement now.

    Jodi and Team,
I am a teacher of 19 years in Richardson and the policy of giving tickets to students has been a life-saver! When a student stands in your face and calls you a f***ing b**ch, a mother-f***er, or any other flattering term, there is now a plan in place to quickly address the behavior. You know we can’t touch them; and two or three days of in-school or out-of-school suspension; but, that $250 ticket is definitely a deterrent.
Also, students who fight endanger not only themselvs but all the students around them and anyone (teacher, administrator) who tries to break it up. And the WORST are girl fights!
We have a generation of, mostly, entitled young people who have not had to face consequences of their actions for their entire lives (mom and/or dad are too busy to be inconvenienced by grounding, taking away cars/phones/ipods, etc.) and the public servants of education are taking it in the shorts!!
    Just a comment from a old-timey teacher!

I thought I heard Jodi and the team mention something about Big Bad Voodoo Daddy performing in Dallas (perhaps at the Performing Arts Center) coming up on June 15th. Can you tell me if I heard that correctly or if there’s any additional information? Thanks!
