You were talking about Scott Sams being released yesterday. At least CBS told ya’ll. At my company, people just disappear. I was riding the bus last time gas hit $4.00 per gallon, a guy that I worked with was complaining about his supervisor and how he is always getting written up for attendance. Well, he had been gone for 6 to 8 months and then I saw him at work. He asked me “Did you miss me?” I replied, “I thought that you were terminated.” and he said “No, I’ve been out sick.” My point is, now adays, most companies don’t tell the other employees because of privacy issues (you just disappear).

If you haven’t seen the CBS 11 clip on Midnight, the mini horse with the new prosthetic leg, check it out. Midnight was rescued by Bob Williams Ranch Hand Rescue in Argyle. The story was picked up by the AP and was on several other channels. Ranch Hand Rescue is a 501c3 that rescues severely abused, abandoned, or seized animals. Unadoptable animals become permanent residents of the sanctuary, but their goal is to find loving homes for any animals who are adoptable.
