Which came first … the Christmas music and ads, or the Christmas shoppers?
When I see the ads sometimes before HALLOWEEN, it seems a little nutsy cuckoo. But a new survey shows that 20 percent of us do indeed start holiday shopping before September, and 79% of people do indeed begin pre-Thanksgiving.
I can relate to the remaining 1%, who mostly re-gift things around the house.
Here are more noteworthy findings:
One-half of holiday shoppers plan to shop on Black Friday.
One-fifth of holiday shoppers plan to shop on Thanksgiving night this year,
Two-thirds plan to give gift cards and clothing as gifts.
Slightly more than half of women would like jewelry.
