Remember several year ago when Texas was attacked by mating crickets? Well, I am sad to report that it looks like we may have a similar situation happening over Knox County, Texas.

The grasshoppers and beetles are rising up against us!!!

This is not a joke! The National Weather Service of Norman, Oklahoma has detected a bug-nado!!! And it’s headed right for us! The radar system picked up a large swarm of grasshoppers and beetles flying over Texas. When I say “large swarm”, I mean thousands of insects! They are swarming from the ground all the way up to about 2,500 feet! The bug-nado is also about 50 miles wide!!!

There’s not enough bug spray in the world that can save us!!!

Just kidding! Actually, these bug swarms are actually pretty common. I know, that makes it a lot less cool, right?
