Middle School Teacher Decorates Her Entire Classroom In Harry Potter!!!

Best teacher EVER!!!

Think back to your school days. I’ll bet there was a teacher somewhere along the way that you will forever remember because of something awesome they did while you were in their class.

I was fortunate enough to have several amazing teachers! One cool thing I remember comes from Fourth Grade. Every time we heard thunder, we did a fire drill sort of thing. Thunder meant everyone in the class got up and ran to the reading area, where our teacher would read to us!

As cool as that was, I can honestly say I never had a teacher who went to such extremes as Stephanie Stephens from James L. Capps Middle School in Oklahoma! This awesome middle school teacher decorated her entire classroom in a Harry Potter theme!

Obviously Stephanie loves Harry Potter just as much as her students! She went into extreme details while decorating! Her bathroom door has a sign with 9 3/4s on it, which is the same as the train you take you to Hogwarts. There’s a potions area. There are flying keys hanging from the ceiling. There’s even a three-headed dog!!!

Stephanie says, “My students mean the world to me and I hope my enthusiasm for reading will transfer to each and every one of my kids.”

I love this woman! She rocks! If only all teachers would take a note from Stephanie! It’s immensely helpful when teachers are into the same things their kids are into! My husband is a teacher too and he’s been down this road as well. He may not decorate his classroom to this level, but I can tell you…he read every single Hunger Games book and has seen all the movies up to this point. I think a lot of his kids had more respect for him because he took the time to get into their interests!
