Ahhhhh summer vacation! It’s the best time of the year. There’s nothing better than taking a much need break from work.

Sometimes while on vacation, we have a tendency to overindulge in the food department. For those of you looking to keep your figure while lounging on the beach, we found a few easy ways to burn the calories!

Thanks to Elite Daily, who put together this simple video for us to follow while on vacation!

  1. Go for a walk in the sand! 20 minutes of walking in that squishy sand and you will burn around 64 calories.
  2. Lay out! It sounds lazy and it is! 2 hours of laying in the sun can burn roughly 100 calories!
  3. Get in the water! Jump around like a little kid! 30 minutes of jumping through the waves will earn you 191 extra calories for the day.
  4. Once again, channel your inner-child and get to building sandcastles! 1 hour equals 210 calories!
