Tomorrow, July 12, will mark the second annual “Amazon Prime” Day, where the online shopping company promises more than 100,000 deals on TVs, toys, electronics and more.
The deals are only available for Prime members, and will be the “biggest global Amazon event ever” according to the company. The deals are split into three categories: Spotlight, which are the best deals of the day, Lightning deals, which are only available for a limited time (usually a few hours), and Savings and Deals.
The sales begin in the United States Tuesday at 3am, and at midnight in other countries participating.
Customers can expect new deals to appear on the website as frequently as every 5 minutes, however the company is being very tight-lipped as to what products will actually go on sale.
Last year Amazon faced inventory shortages, and customers had difficulty tracking specific deals as they were updated so frequently. Amazon, however, has taken new measures to ensure that customers will be able to search for the items they want, including being able to sort by category.
