What would it be like to do jury duty… with Robert Downey Jr.?

Lawyers asked Robert a few questions before settling on him as an alternate juror for an accident case in Los Angeles. Downey assured them neither he nor anyone in his family has been in a car crash that resulted in injury. Downey has been serving since Monday. One source said, “He actually seems happy to be here.”

A TMZ source says “Everyone just thought he was a fair guy.” Downey only identified himself, said he was in the film industry, and has been very nice to all involved and very attentive.

Both drivers, two bio-mechanical engineers and 4 eyewitnesses are testifying.  The case has an estimated worth of $50k. Deliberations begin tomorrow.

Taking Downey’s roles in The Judge, Sherlock Holmes and The Singing Detective, he must be experiencing a bit of deja vu! Hope he remembers his places and doesn’t have a sudden flashback from The Judge, and end up on the wrong side of the one on the bench! Haha!
