Sometimes it’s the little things.
The whiff of that bakery as you come over the hill. The chirp of water sprinklers in the neighborhood. Cicadas this time of year. The neighbor’s lawnmower – or maybe the aroma from his grill.
Kids laughing. Playing baseball, or maybe in the pool.
It feels good to think of those things. We all share them, or something like them, and they’re the ties that hold us together.
Ties that are important when the world wants to pull us apart.
Sometimes these days it’s hard to remember how far we’ve already come, and how the strength we can take from that can get us where we want to go. So as we rush headlong toward another election day, a small reminder of what we share. From us, to you.
How to get yours…Wednesday morning at 7:35 on 98.7 KLUV.
