After the news that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will miss again miss significant time due to injury, some fans aren’t to happy. One fan wen’t so far as to create an online petition calling for Romo’s retirement.
“Tony Romo has been a menace in the NFL since 2003 when he went un-drafted and for good reason! He has made a jopke of our league and kept the Cowboys from winning major games while choking during clutch moments,” the petition starts. Adding, “We have watche the Cowboys use better back up QB’s because Romo is always missing games because he is injured.” (We’re guessing this guy missed last season when the Dallas Cowboy back up QB’s went 1-12).
It continues, “Move on with their (Dallas Cowboys) back up Dak Prescott because even a 3rd string is more useful than Tony Romo especially after the announcement he has a broken back and won’t play until the middle of the season.”
The petition end’s by saying, “RETIRE TONY ROMO!!!”
Currently the petition, which is posted on Change.Org only has 166 supporters.
