A Letter From George Bush To Bill Clinton From 1993 Has Gone Viral

After the debate last night, we can all agree that there is a lack of mutual respect among the Presidential candidates. There’s been name calling and mud-slinging, which only seems to increase every time Donald trump and Hillary Clinton get in a room together.

No matter which candidate you vote for on election day, it’s pretty evident that America is over the insults.

A letter from 1993, when President Bill Clinton took office has resurfaced. George H.W. Bush left a handwritten for Bill Clinton to read on his first day of work. The letter reads…

Let’s recap the end of this letter. Bush says…

“Your success now is our country’s success. I am rooting hard for you.”

Wow. Those are powerful words. If given the opportunity, do you think either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump would be able to sit down and write a letter like this?
